Personal Story

I had been a homemaker for a number of years when I realized that a new direction was needed so I enrolled at Macomb Community College. I felt compelled to take this journey, not quite knowing where this was going to take me. It was very overwhelming at times trying to balance all the responsibilities of teenagers, wife, daughter and homemaker. The experience was one of the most challenging and the most rewarding that I have encountered. A non-traditional student faces different challenges from the education community, however, I successfully graduated with my Bachelor’s degree gaining the knowledge and strength that only pursuing a goal and achieving it can give someone. Coaching you to achieve your goal and be successful with your choice is another one of my goals
